Insights from the CLEARINGHOUSE science-policy symposium “Regreening Cities with Nature-based solutions in EU and China” with the event recording.

The video provides urban forestry insights from the CLEARINGHOUSE science-policy symposium “Regreening Cities with Nature-based solutions in EU and China”. This event, held in Brussels, provided an excellent chance to gain deeper insights into two EU Horizon research projects focused on urban forestry, green infrastructure, and nature-based solutions. The CLEARING HOUSE and REGREEN projects presented the final event that explores the potential of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Urban Forestry (UF) to re-green urban spaces. The projects were active in cities across Belgium, Spain, Poland, Germany, Denmark, France, and Croatia. Moreover, partner cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Huaibei, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, also shared their invaluable experiences. The event provided context and innovation perspectives on sustainable urban development of greener, healthier and more inclusive urban spaces for all.
