The Restoration Knowledge Base, is a database of different types of resources to support forest restoration practitioners across Europe. It compiles technical guidelines, textbooks, and scientific articles and reviews that provide guidance on specific restoration practices. The contents of the database were selected based on an assessment of key priorities for restoration, as well and commonly used methods across the SUPERB demo-regions and related forest restoration projects across the European continent.

This product includes two main documents: the Practices Overview, which provides a brief description of the restoration practices, and the Practices Database, which compiles guiding resources for each practice. The practices database is structured into four spreadsheets: an overall list of included practices, a list of guidelines, a list of textbooks or book chapters, and a list of scientific articles. Each of these spreadsheets contain links to the corresponding documents and their metadata.

The Knowledge Base was developed with input from practitioners and stakeholders to optimize its effectiveness and usability.
