Managing forests to enhance biodiversity strengthens ecosystem services such as wood production and climate regulation, ensuring benefits for both nature and people. The RESONATE Policy Brief presents findings and guidance on (i) how healthy, diverse forests can better withstand challenges like storms, fires, and droughts; (ii) why and where current and future disturbances are expected to increase biodiversity loss; (iii) how disturbances can enhance biodiversity by leading to more diverse and younger forests.
