Find the tree

The students will walk around the schoolyard with a worksheet that includes drawings of the leaves and fruits of each tree species found on the school grounds. They will have to match each drawing to the corresponding tree in the yard and write the name of the tree on the worksheet. The tree's name will be displayed on a small sign placed on or near the tree. This activity can also be carried out outside the school setting or schoolyard, as long as there is access to a green area.
